Stevens Towing just completed the delivery of 3 patrol boats, 2 spare boat trailers and 1 TEU to the Caribbean. All these items were loaded at our shipyard on Yonges Island, SC with our Clyde 32 140 ton floating crane to the Stevens 2501 (250′ x 54′ x 13′) ABS deck barge. Once everything was trucked here, we shrink wrapped the boats for the voyage to protect them from the salt elements and had our shipyard team secured them to the barge for ocean transit. The Sea Crescent departed with the Stevens 2501 to our first stop which was in St. Kitts to deliver a patrol boat for their local Coast Guard. After discharge in St. Kitts we sailed to Dominica where we discharge a patrol boat, 1 spare boat trailer and 1 TEU for their Coast Guard. From Dominica we sailed to Grenada to deliver a final patrol boat and spare trailer. This was a great trip for us and we were fortunate enough to have relatively good weather.
